If diablo were to be rimurus enemy before he became demon lord then he would've been dead like in other time lines
If he joins with feldway against rimuru then same thing would've happened like original time line where veldora being cantrol by tatsuya kandos bullet and rimuru vs two true dragons since est. empire started noticing rimuru after he became demon lord and rimuru would've force to use his full power from the Star

Yeah but rimaru would have never named diablo and that would mean that he would not be as strong as how he is now cuz rimaru doesn't really need diablo

Well without Rimuru he wouldn't get a name -> essentially preventing him to ever reach the ultimate level
even with his ultimate skill from vol16 compared to end of season2 Tempest his absence would barely makes a difference in their war capacity, since True Demon Lord Rimuru from season 2 with 4 Ultimate skills is just that much stronger than anybody else in Tempest except for Veldora who is only a bit weaker than him.
For what would change story wise...it depends how you change his desires/motives and personality since they were the reason he joined Rimuru. But yeah his intelligence is probably the one thing he could damage Tempest the most, but that doesn't make Tempests enemies much more of a threat than they already are -> it just depends on when Rimuru gets the necessary hax to beat them, which Diablo didn't really contribute to in the original series and was more of a matter how much teh author nerfs the monster he created.
Even if Diablo warns Feldway about Rimurus potential before season2 the story woudn't change much since it just means it is another obstacle that Chole has to solve before her lover finally gets the peace he deservers.
