We love you Jimmy. If you don't get a knighthood, know that we, the little people, really appreciate all your hat changing and drinking on our behalf 😁

WOW - I love that you do each part almost in order. I assumed you did them one at a time and just are awesome at editing too...

I was always wondering if you just filmed it all in order and then edited out the costume changes. I'm amazed just that you don't get confused about which state you're playing!

This video clip was a very interesting insight into the making of just one of Jimmy Rees episodes. Having studied a bit of Film and TV at school in the early 80s, I had found myself wondering how Jimmy would go about making an episode. He has chosen to film in sequence in order to reduce the effort required to edit a coherent storyline. This is part of the benefit of using a single background scene and simple props changes to create the different characters. It all starts with the final script and clearly marking each character and their wardrobe details. This differs from major movie productions where things are filmed out of sequence and dependant on cast and scenery locations availability.

Love a sneak peek behind the scenes! Interesting that you do them in order, I thought you did each character first and then edited altogether. I guess it helps with the flow to do it this way - makes me appreciate your work even more Jimmy!

This series of videos by Jimmy will become a very useful resource for students of Audio Visual Communications. This is entertainment pared down to the bare minimum. The only thing more sparse would be filming Stand-Up Comedy without any props.
