🏜️UTAH: this is probably the state I spend the most time in. There’s the most incredible national parks: Zion, Byrce, Moab, Canyonlands… and it has the most free land with the most insane views to stay on!
🏔️WASHINGTON: this summer I really fell in love with the mountain ranges, ocean and rainforests! I hope to own land here one day.
🌈OREGON: We all know I love Bend, Oregon so much but Oregon itself has the coolest Iceland ISH landscapes with waterfalls and coastlines!
🌻COLORADO: I could go on and on about Colorado’s beauty. You do have to work for it a bit more in the van, BUT the wildflowers, lakes, sunrises, mountains, peaches and hidden gems like the Western Slope keep me coming back year after year.
🏕️IDAHO: this is THE MOST underrated state in America IMO! It has the most natural hot springs of any state, the most beautiful mountain ranges and just vast countryside to camp on.

As a Oregonian, I lhad a giggle at “practically Iceland” - when I visited Iceland I did several highly-recommended waterfall tours, and I was like, yeah, these are pretty cool, but not that different from the ones we have at home!

In 2.5+ years I have done van life, my cat Atlas & I have lived in over 15 states! Here are my favorites and WHY 👇
