Every job aspirant should simultaneously target as many companies as they can along with the GATE exam.

Few points to keep in mind before preparing for such PSUs.

1️⃣ 𝐒𝐲𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐬
The syllabus of such PSUs is mostly aligned with the GATE syllabus except few of them where the syllabus has more weightage to the non-technical part. So 𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝑺𝑼 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒚𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒔

2️⃣ 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚
Many PSUs have minimum 60% or 65% minimum marks. Some allow final-year students to also apply. So always check the previous year's notifications to get a clear view.

3️⃣ 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧
GATE is an exam with a single stage, many of the below PSUs have exams in
multiple stages. The most important stage is the personal interview, so prepare simultaneously for the interview.

4️⃣ 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧
Develop a comprehensive study plan that covers the syllabus of both GATE and PSU exams. Allocate time-based on the weightage of topics in each exam.

5️⃣ 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
Be in touch with any senior or your teacher who can guide you efficiently during a dilemma.

6️⃣ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 
Always have an eye on the career section of the PSUs you are planning to appear in, especially the state PSUs. You can also weekly read the employment newspaper or connect with some good telegram channels.
