I purchased mine thinking it was a low light plant, but it didn’t do well until I put it directly in front of a south facing window. I drop a light filtering curtain before sunset, she’s been doing surprisingly well! The plant was mislabeled in the store, turns out to be a calathea and I figured I’d kill it soon enough since they’re so finicky. So far I’ve had good luck with it!

I swear I can kill a pothos in .024 seconds but my prayer plants are literally indestructible. How does that make any sense?! 😂

Mine have adjusted to my home. I can attest to how resilient they are and how they don't mind drying out just a little bit. I accidentally let one get quite bone dry, but he recovered beautifully and is giving me new growth. :)

If you can get over the initial browning 😢 They do make great plants once they acclimate One plant that I want to try is the white fusion but I have heard some horror stories so I’ll maybe keep away for now 😢

Do they like smaller pots than you'd think? Letting my first one settle in its new home before daring to make any further changes.

Mine definitely did not like drying out a bit between watering, however we’re only between 30-50% humidity so it got crusty pretty quickly

They like light, filtered water or distilled water. And mine are doing beautifully that way.

More light? Mine is sooo dramatic and gets really mad if i expose it direct sun even for 5-7 mins, i always have to keep the curtains drawn, its doing well now 😊
