I always remove the solenoids anyways, just to avoid potential issues. The pcv valves arent easy to remove, especially on the wranglers with the gen 1/2 engines. Those t25s are jammed up against the firewall. On the gen 3 its a twist lock quarter turn style but they are fragile, be careful when you twist

The updated 3.6 has a twist on/off pcv. No idea why they like putting them on the end of the exhaust camshaft but yeah.

And that pcv valve is not fun to remove.
