First of all, morality is a mix of empathy and opinions. Opinions can be changed or influenced by facts and they’re still opinions. So differentiating them as if opinions can’t be based on facts and evidence is incorrect. Second of all, living based off of personal morals isn’t pretending they’re objective, it’s doing what your own personal morality dictates you do. Third of all, even if objective morality is more logically reasonable, it doesn’t mean it actually exists. Logical arguments are not evidence for anything other than logical consistency. Finally, objective morality wouldn’t point to a creator because that creator is also a subject and its sense of morality would also be subjective. It would just be a more powerful subject so you’d listen to it, which is an argument from authority, which itself is fallacious. Also, if morals were actually objective, they wouldn’t change from place to place and time to time. People can’t even agree on moral issues within the same place AND time. If it were objective, we’d be able to measure it in some tangible way, but we can’t, because it’s subjective.

Let’s leave aside your mischaracterization of subjective morality. Have you a shred of evidence that objective morality exists?

Yes morality is subjective, or more specifically intersubjective. No, that does not make it a delusion or some kind of pretend.  I have the opinion, for example, that steak tastes good. Not all people believe that steak tastes good, they have different opinions because taste is subjective. My opinion on steak tasting good isn’t a delusion though, it’s just an opinion I have come to due to various facts and interactions with the world. While steak and morality are different things, both can be subjective but real, not “delusional.”
