Can't agree with you more. I'm a teacher in an African studies Dept of a European University. There's a lot of nonsense about African history and culture, put out there by non African academics. Until we hear the lion's side of the story, the hunter will always portray himself as the hero of the situation.

No one is saying Habesha people are not indigenous to Africa, but genetics, linguistics, archeology, and history have long proven it is a reality. Abyssinians themselves used to say they came from South Arabia. I dare anyone to look up what Haile Selassie and Menelik II amongst others said about their ethnic identity, or read the legends of Makeda & Kebra Nagast.
