Unfortunately, one of the two rocket engines failed and a low, swirly launch was the result. The parachute probe was still nearly picked up by the RFD bulge and wrapped into the #tornado. The probe recorded surface data as the tornado passed over.
We are definitely going to succeed this year at peppering a tornado with even dozens of miniaturized probes, using rockets and large mothership FPV drone. Stay tuned

Potato launchers with compressed air if it could launch a potato, it could easily launch a plastic container that pops open it would be more accurate than a rocket, which definitely seemed unpredictable

I live in Thaxton, MS. A tornado was a couple miles from my trailer. Mom and I had to go to the shelter right down the road. I was scared to come back to nothing.
