I think its interesting that in the affluent abandoned areas are still standing. But, the poorly ran areas gets demolished no questions asked.. I would think it is common sense to demolition all abandoned areas.

This was built back in the 70s or 80s for low income people. It was their own behavior that destroyed it. The cycle will begin again.

I don’t understand why our big money government doesn’t buythe property, try to salvage what’s left of the structures even if just a couple of buildings. Make the grounds nice and pretty. Add a police precinct or substation. And allow people who need housing to stay here until they can get back on their feet? We have so many people that just need a roof over their head, electricity, and running water.
The basic essentials of life.
Not section 8, but shelter! Turn it into something.
Instead of just mowing it down and leaving it to grow up. Use these abandoned buildings. Flip them and house Americans in NEED!
