How do deal with barking and prey driven?

Can someone tell me experiences you've had with American Staffordshire Terriers, Japanese Spitz, and the Leonberger breeds? I really like them but I don't know any dog breeds like those so I'm unsure about it.
Dog breeds that I'm most familiar with are dachshunds and cocker spaniels. I do have a beagle but I've only had her for a year and she doesn't act like your typical beagle at all lol. And if someone doesn't mind, can you tell me experiences with Labradors? And I mean all of it about these breeds, the pros and the cons. Just what these specific breeds were like in your experience basically.

Not a fan of many small breeds, but especially Miniature Schnauzers because of their yapping and also because of their tendency to nip.
