Im always confused by theists who think that god is giving us "clues" to his existence.
Like its the most difficult cryptic crossword puzzle ever , and they congratulate themselves when they think they have solved a clue and that it somehow gets them closer to god.
But ask them why a god would do things this way, and they have no answer 😂

I would like to point out that as an atheist I AM mad at God... in the same way I am mad at Voldemort, or the same way I am mad at any fictional villain or traitorous enabler.
The only difference between God and the rest is that I don't have to deal with Emperor Palpatine's most fervent worshipers dumping tons of money and influence into the political system under which I am forced to live, mandating that even people who don't believe in him must follow his rules. People who claim to worship God and Jesus do that constantly, so yes I am mad at the concept of God and those who enable that concept to act on others in this country and others.
People should be able to follow any religion they want, but they should not force it upon others. I don't mind seeing a church steeple or a cross monument on the side of a highway anymore than I'd mind seeing a Buddha monument or a Taoist symbol. What I mind is their religious dogma being turned into laws that I have to follow...

I always ask people if they are mad at Zeus or another Greek god. Then explain that's how I feel about their god. I also ask them why they so easily dismissed other religions, but not theirs. Usually that haven't thought about any of this.
I'm hoping that they walk away with a better understanding of what I'm thinking and a few questions of their own. I know that 99.9% of them will redouble their study of the Bible and push away the questions, but maybe my words and the words of others will eventually free them. I'm so glad that people in my life took the time to push back against my thoughts 17 years ago or I wouldn't have had the freedom to learn that I do today.

The truth about atheism is pretty simple, I get up, have my coffee, plan my day, retirement is awesome, eat, do whatever, go to bed and repeat the same the next day, I don't ponder on anything else. I am not worried about the afterlife because I believe I will simply go for a long sleep. I don't pray to anything. Am I wondering about what if? Of course, but it doesn't occupy my mind for much longer than a few thoughts. What will be, will be. I don't meet with other atheists to discuss this matter. I just enjoy what's left of my life in peace and harmony as much as possible. That's it, I can't be mad at something I have determined wasn't true...how could I be. I am not mad at leprechauns either.

i've always been atheist. i don't care if there is a god or not, i would just like the question answered cos god is wasting a lot of human resources, not to mention people are constantly being killed by "his people". but if god were real then he seems to not mind this atheist, i've had a charmed existence.

But if a god did exist and if it was so evil that it forced other life forms into the type of existence where they would suffer against their will and often times suffer horribly against their will, but it didn't care it forced them into that type of existence anyway, then I would want that god to be eraticated from existence in order to stop that god from hurting other life forms.

I'm not mad at the Easter Bunny either, despite not getting any chocolate eggs for the past 50 years.
