By far, my favorite product we recently started using, where I work, is the One Choice 1K AD Pro Max adhesion promoter and sealer in one. It saves me so much time, especially when I am painting multiple raw plastic bumpers at a time. It’s a great product and the application is easy and quick. It goes on just like a normal transparent adhesion promoter and flashes really quick too.

I’ve never had an issue with sealer on the plastic parts i have painted without using an adhesion promoter. It is more for installation of the part itself back onto the vehicle because it does bake out and harden like the clear coat does. It just gives you a little more protection when putting it back on.

Honestly I was told with does type of bumpers that you have to sand it down this is the first I'm hearing about this

I just scuff mine with the 3M pad and actually prime it,smooth it with 320 pad then tack rag it and paint

I had a bad chemical reaction when I did that, twice. Stripped it down, twice, sprayed it with Nason primer/sealer, pearl white tri coat and it's been solid in use on my daughters vehicle for a few years. I avoid the adhesion promoter.
