I have been blessed by having many wonderful close friends, family, girlfriends, and some mentors. I have totally lost some of those relationships entirely despite how wonderful they were.
Although this song seems that it was originally written about a significant other, when I listen to it I think of all the people I have known who, either from their choice, mine, or just naturally growing and drifting apart we no longer talk to each other. When I listen to this song I cherish the times I had with each of those people, but I also affirm them in their needing to move on, my needing to move on, or just that that happened in our relationship. Best wishes, thoughts, vibes and prayers to all of you, wherever you may be! Thank you for being part of my life!
