This was the service rifle my dad had to use in the Marines and he hated it 😅 he did get his sniper qualification with it though. It was 1962 though, so idk if 'sniper' carried the weight it does now. He told me he "pitied the sorry bastard that had to carry that around the bush in Vietnam."
