I worked on backstage setup for the U2 PopMart tour in Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium in April 1997. Still have my pass and lanyard in a box somewhere. I grew up in love with the Joshua Tree album. It's great to see U2 involved with the new Sphere.

Had the pleasure to work on this masterpiece. Some of the best craftsman from around the world came together to make this a reality. Madison square garden didn’t spare a penny to make this come to fruition. They used all well paid union workers to complete this project. They provided thousands of families with great retirement, healthcare, pay and other various benefits. I sure hope the people come to support this. While I don’t always agree with the politics of unions I believe every skilled construction trades person deserves a good wage and good benefits. Thank you MSG
