"Stop my son, this is madness"

You know you've crossed a line when even Cersei Lannister thinks you've gone mad.

One of the most shocking moments in a TV series, when the main protagonist gets killed off in the first season.

Even Cersei who straight up hated him was like “you’re going to far bro this ain’t funny”.

You cropped out the reason he looked into the crowd, he saw Arya was no longer on the statue, and so he put his head down with some hope that she is safe.

I remember watching for the first time. Thinking someone will come and save him at the last second. Then the sword went through his neck. I was silent for 5 minutes, thinking, " Wait, he can't be dead. Sean Bean is the main character.... shit he's dead." This show is going to be different. Became a fan ever since. Still waiting for Book 6.

Rip Ned he was a good man his death wasn't a result of him being naive but of trying to do the right thing

The way the people were yelling at such a noble and humble person… they did get what they deserved in the last season

That realisation on Ned's face is priceless in the last moments. He was like "so this is it for me. Like this".

See, when I watch scenes like this, suddenly Daenerys burning all those people in King's Landing doesn't seem so bad

When genuine men like Ned are killed off from the game of thrones, the world of Westoros becomes a dark, ugly and violent place. We as people must protect the "Ned Starks" of our times.

He must have felt so hopeless knowing sansa was completely at their mercy

This scene still makes me cry. How helpless Ned must have felt. Felt terrible for both Sansa and Arya as how horrible it was to see their innocent father being framed and killed.

Now I don't feel sad about the Dragons burning down the city.

Even Tyrion didn't brought that much disappointment to his father than Joffrey brought to Cersei
