As I've run into an increasing number of people who tell me about their fear of microwave ovens. 5G cell phone towers, cell phones,, and smart meters, I set up this experiment to demonstrate how weak radio waves are at a distance, by placing numerous eggs in front of my microwave oven, to see how microwaves would effect them at various distances. The eggs closest to the microwave oven were only mildly warm after 35 minutes or exposure, but eggs beyond 13 inches remained cool. Here's a link to a video by a gentleman who believes microwaves aren't as dangerous as people think, and he makes his case by microwaving his own hand and face to prove his point. Conventional science teaches that non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from Microwaves and many other sources are harmless at a distance, even though they have the potential to cook things up close.
For those who may be interested in learning more about the LED and diode combination I used in this experiment. Check out this link to learn more. Ā Ā Ā ā€¢Ā 2Ā DollarĀ RadiationĀ DetectorĀ YouĀ CanĀ B...Ā Ā

Microwaves can damage your eyes and other organs, if your to close to the magnetron.

My previous physiotherapist (now retired) used a microwave device for better healing of injuries. The device was the size of a washing machine, with a plastic telescopic arm carrying a round plastic box. This box was then secured to the injured body part with elastic bands. A timer was then set for 20 minutes, and after about 5 minutes you felt a pleasant internal warmth. Also, microwaves don't provide 360Ā° energy if I'm not mistaken, but rather a beam, which is why the food rotates in a microwave to avoid creating a hotspot. This also explains why you cannot kill an ant in a microwave, as soon as it feels the heat, it moves to another place on the dish.

This is awesome. I would've thought at least the first few would have white in them if not be half-fried.

Interesting concept to demonstrate the inverse square law, and how the shielding in the microwave body reflects and concentrates the rf energy, neat!

The military uses a microwave device that is aimable like a gun. It shoots concentrated microwaves powerful enough to scare and cause immediate noticeable warmth but not strong enough at distance to cause any harm. This is more a piggyback off a few other comments.

I'd love to see you use something to detect all the stray RF with it like that! I wonder if nearby airports or anyone else is like wtf is causing all this interference?! šŸ˜®

I am confident that each of the eggs were used well and not discarded. I am further confident that some form of prayer was voiced in gratitude and that the little chicken babies, pig, cow, fish etc. we're thanked and respectfully welcomed into your body. Of course thanks was likely voice towards Mother Earth, Father Sky and further dearly prayed unto Water and to our Cosmic Creators is gratefulness graciousness and is a given. We are all constituent members of One Collective Spirit and we are all integral to the Whole Being. Yep! It's okay (and I hope you will agree) to play the occasional role of "Mom" in order to protect, bless and even just remind friends and family from every Walk of Life of those little but important things. Lol! Okay, enough of that for now as I will be promptly returning to the less redundant roleplay character of a "student" attending the lectures and instructionals of all you great professors. Thanks for having me! Best regards and even greater wishes of peace, love and respect to be yours always.

In a commercial microwave (2000w output) the range would be 6ish feet as they dissipate from the cavity. Itā€™s all about wavelength, valleys and peaks. Everythingā€™s ā€œwaveā€ unlocks the unknown.

very cool experiment showing the Rf and Microwave power> I would have thought also it would have fried the first few eggs. So does the microwave oven cavity bounce around the microwaves and concentrate the "field" to cook when then door is closed?

Now put an egg in front of a Fighter jet radar and see what happens

Wow, that really shows how dependent a microwave ovens functionality is on being sealed so the waves can bounce back. I bet running those eggs under a warm tap would've cooked them more than the loose microwaves!
