It would be cool to connect it to an rts game and have this display the portrait of the selected unit (like the 3d model portraits of warcraft 3 units)

3D fluid simulation. Some cool stuff with the "new" GPU accelerated particle system. Maybe you can hack the simulation to be in loop so you can play a long 3D video instead of actually having to simulate the thing...

I really wanna order one of these asap if I can run Unity builds on this thing without much hassle! I was just chatting with the CEO/CTO at my job like 2 days ago about doing a side project of our own to make some really cool 3D gallery/viewer apps that users could run on tvOS, AppleTV and digital picture frames and then they could control it on their phone or PC and make it do whatever they wanted, even show custom stuff on it that they made. This looks like a perfect device to play with and refine our ideas
