Weekend Getaway | Mount Dora, Florida | Day Two


Day Two: The weather was perfect! Avel (‪@2WHEELADVLIFE‬) to go on his Adventure Ride with the Dixie Dual Sport Motorcycle Club. It was actually the reason we came up to Mount Dora in the first place.

Our friends Jen, Rich and Heather met up with me at the Airbnb and we all headed downtown on a Golf Cart Taxi. Our driver John was awesome and told us some quick little historical facts about Mount Dora and suggested some awesome little spots for us to visit. The Mount Dora Transit company works for tips only and was perfect for what we needed!

Our first stop was at the Mount Dora Marketplace. We enjoyed some Mimosas To-Go from Bubbles and Juice and some delicious Lebanese food from Beirut Bites. So good!

We started walking around again and found PAPILIO, and adorable spot with a little bar and tons of plants. They even have pretty little finches throughout the shop to enjoy as well. Really cute place!

Avel’s ride needed and he joined us at Serendipity Brews. They offer a large selection of local craft beers, wine and coffee drinks. Great little vibe place with cozy seating in the back.

Next we headed to the Dockside Bar, located at the beautiful and historic Lakeside Inn. The grounds are so pretty and you can just chill on the patio for gorgeous lake views and a relaxing time.

We spent the rest of the day walking around, stopping for quick bites and tasty drinks. Mount Dora is such a lovely, laid back place to enjoy. We had a blast!
