I’m gonna say it Monty python and the holy grail is pretty accurate. No one has plate armor most of them don’t have helmets, they wear chainmail, and for such a low budget film they have some pretty good knight armor for the time they were looking for

I'm no expert, just a hobbiest, but a movie with surprisingly good armor to my mind is A Knights Tale.

The Witcher Nilfgaardian armour was horrible. Probably the worst costumes in the whole show, and that's saying a lot since they had the Devil Says Goodnight episode. There was literally no reason to make them veiny dick-heads, the armour just needed black paint or oxide.
I wish they never adapted Witcher, such a disappointment.

I’d assume commercials cast less actors so they can spend more on one person.
Movies and shows have many actors, they may need cheaper props to meet budget constraints

I would say the outlaw king as most of the armor for high class is chain mail mainly as was the common armor for them at the time

My favourite is still outlaw king. It wasnt perfect but just the fact they tried to make it look accurate went a long way.

May I also bring up a show that I doubt that you have heard of, “Maria the Virgin Witch. I am no Armor expert but I have often heard that it is pretty accurate, I am vouch that the tactics are good and it has one of only two accurate depictions of cannonballs on film.

I don't think its dumb, armour in shows and in anything that isnt real life typically will always have a fantastical element to it. Its whether that fantastical element ruins the usability of the armour, and more often then not most things will make fantastic elememts that make the armour have outrageous weak points.
