For my new tote bag, I used a rectangular piece of denim (left over from cutting out a denim dress). Pockets and a belt from old jeans were also used - remnants that are rarely used for recycling and therefore there are always a lot of these parts. The belt made a great handle, which really cut down on my labor costs when making the bag. Jeans pockets are conveniently located inside the bag.
The bag can be transformable, depending on how full it is. When the filling is weak, it looks very neat, and when full, it turns into a pillow bag, which I clearly demonstrated at my show.
