That donut shape is more important than we know. It's probably the shape of the universe I've seen on lectures. One scientist in the crowd stood up and said but as above so below. So two stacked together was what they came up with. The lecture blew my mind wish I had the link.

Most people don't know this but the math behind this idea has the scientists baffled.
According to the math this method of travel would take zero time to go anywhere.
They have tried many times to work it out that some time would elapse. No luck!
