You're so right. Citizens need to spread the word that rights are like muscles. If you don't use them, you lose them. Standing on public property with a camera is a constitutional right & it's important to film law enforcement as they carry out their job of enforcing laws, not feelings. Hold them accountable, stand up for your rights.

The sad thing is a chunk of those citizens calling the police about people recording or taking pictures in public DO know that that’s covered by the 1st Amendment, but just don’t like that that grants them the freedom to take those videos and pictures without giving what they deem as a “valid reason” as to why they’re doing so or who that person specifically is.
