Good News! Alberta Opportunity Stream is Back!
The Alberta Opportunity Stream will start accepting applications again on June 11 with updated guidelines, aiming to improve processing times and provide applicants with more chances to apply for a limited number of provincial nomination certificates.

➡️Each month a specific number of applications will be accepted.

➡️When that target is reached, no further applications will be accepted until the next date. The target is subject to change.

Your job offer from your Alberta employer must meet the following conditions:

It provides continuous, paid employment.

The position must be full-time, requiring a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

The job must last for at least 12 months.

The work should be in your designated occupation.

The wages and benefits offered should meet or surpass the provincial minimum wage, as well as align with the specifications outlined in your LMIA.

To qualify, you must have the following work experience at the time of your application submission:

A minimum of 12 months of full-time work in your current occupation in Alberta within the past 18 months

A minimum of 24 months of full-time work in your current occupation in Canada or internationally within the past 30 months, or a combination of both Alberta, Canadian (outside Alberta), or international work experience
