Passap Minutes: Patterning Devices #shorts

Today, I will briefly tell you about the patterning devices that were made for Passap knitting machines. The Jac-40 was the first one used to manually arrange the pushers on both beds. I couldn't find the year it was introduced, but I guess maybe around 1960 when the Passap Pinkie was made. The Jac-40 has differently spaced pins for various machines, so it may be introduced before the Passap Pinkie was made.
The Deco device comes next. It was introduced in 1978 and can be mounted on all Duomatic machines. It can be used in combination with the Jac-40 device to create reversible fabrics.
