If they simply didn't include the camera, I think it would have been less invasive. And if they made it look closer to a regular pair of glasses, people might have actually bought it.

I would have liked to try smart glasses. Looking stuff up without having to focus at a view blocking device would have some benefits i can imagine. Like while biking. But the new aspect it brings during a social interacton with the cam and possible distraction is probably too hard a roadblock.

When did Google glasses first premiere? More than a decade ago ? Selfies, influencers, dating apps, and worldwide group gossiping are so common now that being public is the norm. Hardly anyone expects privacy in 2024.
