Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is introducing a Variable Road Toll Pricing system for Salik, effective January 31, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance traffic flow and provide cost-saving opportunities for drivers.
THE NATIONAL

New Salik Toll Rates:

Peak Hours (Weekdays): 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Toll Fee: AED 6 per crossing
Off-Peak Hours (Weekdays): 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Toll Fee: AED 4 per crossing
Overnight (Daily): 1:00 AM – 6:00 AM

Toll Fee: Free
Sundays: All day

Toll Fee: AED 4 per crossing
These adjustments are designed to encourage drivers to travel during off-peak hours, thereby reducing congestion during the busiest times of the day.

Additionally, the RTA plans to implement a Variable Parking Tariff Policy, including event-specific parking tariffs, to further manage traffic flow and parking demand in the city.
