I still don't exactly understand everything about transgenders, but I will always respect them. If I know coming out as trans, power to them! I think it's great that people are now expressing themselves in a way they feel comfortable, and if you disagree then you're probably not a very likeable person, but as I said I still don't understand all of it

95% of commenters seemingly missed the joke, so let me help you out. Here's the context. J.K. Rowling has a weird habit of bringing up anti-trans talking points over and over when she has no expertise in the topic and when no one asked her. Over the years, she spoke about the subject multiple times and said a lot of insensitive or plainly weird things that were completely unnecessary. Instead of dropping the topic and focusing on something else, she doubled down and kept going into pointless arguments with trans activists and Twitter users. The Sorting Hat in the video is a stand-in for Rowling. It brings up gender and goes on a random anti-trans rant during a sorting ceremony, which is completely unnecessary and inappropriate. THAT'S THE JOKE! The title "If Hogwarts Legacy Was Directed by J.K. Rowling" makes fun of Rowling's tendencies and jokingly suggests that if she were the director, the game would include pointless and random jabs at trans people that reflect Rowling's personal beliefs. I hope that helps :) If you want to know more about transgenderism, I recommend this video by @ProfessorDave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpGqFUStcxc
