In the Sims 4, sim don’t have any supernatural traits besides maybe eyes, until they’re a teen. Children in TS3 can be a werewolf and toddlers will scratch furniture, toddler vamps can bite the necks of their teddy bears, and witch toddlers can make their toy’s disappear.

The only plus in sims 4 is that you don't have to be the best of friends in order to drink from someone as a vampire. Really helps with the evil vampire gameplay :3

The fact that you only have to pay $20 for 5 Sim races and 2 circumstancial Sim races as opposed to currently $60 for only 3 Sim races gives Sims 3 the immediate win.

I think Sims 4's biggest problem with the each occult being in a separate pack is how ISOLATED occults are. Moonlight Falls is tailor made to have a community of diverse occults all interacting together. So while the quality has gone up in Sims 4 in terms of gameplay the VARIETY and the ambience has been tamped down. I think it's because occults aren't super popular with a majority of simmers so every occult world is made to be isolated and off to the side as a treat. I think an all encompassing world like Moonlight Falls in Sims 4 would fix that, but then we'd have to buy it...sigh...

I only have ts4 vampires and i think it's pretty good, but i find it too hard to manage more than 1 vampire at a time. Even when i bought them plasma packs they didn't drink autonomously and were constantly on the verge of dying. I do love the separate vampire/human forms tho.
I love supernatural btw, there are some annoying things about it, but as an occult lover it's one of my favorites.

Sims 3 is always the best when it comes to gameplay. All Sims 4 has going for it is aesthetics. But everything is extremely shallow and uninspired.

There's a really annoying glitch in sims 3 that effects werewolf and only pops once you have played long enough. At certain point towine werewolf's wont turn back to human form.
This is a problem when you realize that a sim can't "Try for baby" in werewolf form.

ngl i only made this so i had an excuse to use the song 😅 but while we’re on the topic what’s up with the sims 4 having a separate pack for each occult 💀 i think they did werewolves better but have to give it to sims 3 just for that bang for ur buck 🐐 x
