Their confidence in the bible has been shattered. Bible studies discussing the various versions brings doubt. I was in such a study years ago. It distracted from what God actually said down to what the translation said or meant.

It’s not taught, All human behavior is learned, sucking is about the only “instinctual” behavior humans have. Everything else is learned and taught. 5 yrs old my parents shove me off to Sunday School, that started my education into all things evil, Everything that is Evil in the world was thrusted upon my mind when had I been left to my own discovery of the outside world I never would have thought EVIL thoughts. I saw my first Black adults at age 6, I never saw another Black adult face to face until I was in my 20’s waiting on them at a restaurant. I understand the need to create a new way to educate children by leaving out some information until,the child can search out the information on their own. I did not at 5 years old need to be told about Adam and Eve going to Hell that full of fire. At 4 years old our dairy barn burnt down killing half the herd, I’m terrified of burning in a fire, still today. At 5 Sunday school basically traumatized me for 12 years. I hated religion and church and the whole mess.
