It'd be cool if they are stationed in key-objective such as evacuation sites, fuel stations, or at the landing pad.
Only spawn chance and depending on the level, they will carry hefty Firepower.
And you can also get extra rep or even super-credits for saving a few SEAF units into the pelican or those cut transport ships in the source files.

I sadly don’t think this would become real, the SEAF and Helldivers are very different, but it’d still be sick I mean imagine the armor potential

The Helldivers universe is so iconic that I don't think crossovers would work. Maybe crossover themed stuff, like Super Earth theme Warhammer armor, but its still obviously in universe.

If this does get put into the game, I would suggest that A: the SEAF team deployment stratagem gets used in it, and B: it should be a free war bond that is unlocked after completing a major order, like building training camps or retaking the ones that are occupied like on Vernen Wells.

This would actually be a great way to introduce that one stratagem the devs have been working on for a long time now, the one that lets you call in a pelican full of SEAF infantry. This was in the works since i think the retaking of cyberstan. Not sure though so take it with a grain of salt.
