Can we talk about how commonplace this is within psychiatry and therapy in general - almost as if per definition a person seeking help with their mental "health" (meaning support during a rough time, short or long in duration) is automatically confused with a distorted reality? Every single time I've "sought help", as one is supposed to do, I've been left worse off - this last time literally poisoned. And, to quickly retort a common comment to this: one cannot and should not "shop around"/"date" for a good therapist in that vulnerable state - because, one cannot properly gauge people when you are vulnerable adhd letting your guard down; you are then an easy prey for gaslighting adhd moralistic judgement. I really wanted to believe in therapy etc, but the level of stupidity and malevolence within its practice is just enormous.
