Good thing paper products don’t expire so it’s money saved in todays market.

Sorry, totally disagree on this one. On non-perishable household supplies, if I can get them on sale or in bulk, I believe that to be a smart purchase. This applies to perishable items if it can be preserved. Granted, I do have plenty of space to store everything. I budget specifically for these 1x/year purchases. Nothing is wasted.

Toilet paper and paper towels don’t expire so who cares. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Buying way too much lettuce isn’t a good idea because it will go bad. I’m a couponer and if it’s a stock up price, we use it and I have room, I’m getting i

My military experience taught me not to run out of TP. If I don't have 300 rolls in the house, I lose my cookies. I don't make a mistake by having it. I had it when the pandemic hit and the shortages hit. I was able to supply family and friends during the shortages. I never feel like non-perishables are wasted money. If I need the money, I know that I don't have to buy the stuff, helps with times my budget is a little stretched.

I was a tp "hoarder" because I bought on sale and have room for it. Family made fun of me until the pandemic. When the store shelves were bare they knocked on my door. There you go.

I agree with food and items with expiration dates, but not TP, dish soap or laundry soap. I like to be ahead, so that if money is tight for one month, I can prioritise food over household goods that don't expire.

Because I have always stocked up on toilet paper, I didn’t have any issues in 2020 during the panic/shortage. I didn’t buy any at all during that time. Items that will always be used are items I will always keep an abundance of.

These are non perishable and cost more now than they did then.
Not a mistake and definitely not throwing money in the trash.

I researched this and it is 1 roll of toilet tissue per person per week. Men and boys might use less, also someone who stays home often might need more. But the general rule is 52 rolls per person per year. I actually keep 12-18 months worth on hand and save money as I buy it on clearance or on sale. I did the same with papertowels when I could get them for $.68/ roll. As someone else said if not using a credit card, if they are less than $.50/ roll, and you have space to store then Why Not buy it ?

During Covid it took me 6 weeks to obtain toilet paper so I always keep extra and will never let my stock go as needed ever again.

It's wise to stock up when prices are low. I have a stash of paper towels and toilet paper, and I'm happy i do.

Too much paper towels is unnecessary but the toilet tissue is more necessary
Washable cloth towels is a cost saver

Christine, honey. Boo. Lol. Did you stop and realize that toilet paper doesn't expire?

Big difference between toilet and towels vs food. The first group doesn't expire or go bad. Your limitations is space.

The only things that can go bad with toilet paper or paper towels are if bugs or mice get in them or they get wet. Otherwise, you've saved money because they will definitely be more expensive in the future, if you can still get them.

I like to stock up so I don't have to worry about running out or having to buy the big bulky things every week.
