A finished quilt is a perfect quilt , i am told. I had a good laugh , the most challenging part of making a quilt gor me is sandwiching like you did on the floor. Awesome!!!🎉

It's absolutely beautiful and once it's washed and gets a little wrinkle they will never notice if those lines have a wrinkle in them or not give yourself a break you did amazing!!!! ❣️❣️❣️❣️❤❤❤❤

That's an awesome 1st quilt! I started at 18 years old (im 31 now) by starting classes at my local quilt shop with the lovely old grannies who all took me under their wing. The youngest before me was 65 so I was like an extra granddaughter. I loved it so much I ended up getting an offer to work there and learnt even more. Personally, I wouldnt worry at all about the back quilting lines showing, the ladies who had won awards for their quilts all had imperfect lines (and I still do now). Hand made quilts should look home made and not something from a store!

Using flat sheets for backs of quilts works great too. More cost effective too. You are doing a great job! Quilting is not as easy as people think. That is why people charge hundreds of dollars for them. I’m from a quilting community we have a quilt show every first weekend of August Eureka, MT. They have the town covered in quilts all down the Main Street here. Keep up the great job.
