How have I never heard of Seattle Recreative?? I happened upon it just while I was looking for some places near by that could have some odds and ends I was looking for, without having to go to a major retailer, and this came up. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by, let's just call her "J", and she actually recognized me right away 🤭. I was so excited to get to look through every little bit I could here and walked away with two full bags of goodies! Definitely be sure to check it out if you're ever in the area, they even accept art supplies looking for second chances 🥰

I live in Nashville and we have two. One looks similar to the one in this video and you pay what you think is fair. However, there isn’t nearly as much nice stuff. If you want handfuls of used twist ties from bread and cilantro, they’ve got you covered. Dozens of cheap black plastic pots you get plants in from the nursery. Lots of 6” pieces of yarn. Wrinkled wrapping paper. Half burned candles. Used school folders with stickers and scribbles on them. Most of it looks like someone emptied their junk drawer and donated it.

What a fabulous store! And a great idea. It's really living the thrifting life and there are so many projects you can find that you didn't even know existed or were interested in! It's a shame I'm on the complete opposite side of the country!
