📍Russell Falls, Mount Field National Park, Tasmania
This falls is named Tasmania's favourite waterfall. This falls is less than 1 hr 15 mins from Hobart.
The walk to the falls is an easy 30 min return for 1.4 km. But you can continue to walk up to Horse Shoe falls and then circle around to see Lady Barron Falls. The 3 falls circuit is a 6km circuit and it takes around 2 - 2.5 hours. We went all the way up to Horse Shoe Falls and then back. This is inside the Mount field National Park and you need a National Park permit to enter.
The 30 min return is totally worth it. Must see when you are in Tasmania.
