animated in Adobe Animate 21. it's actually more of a jog. i had some good fun inbetweening this. the loop itself is only 40 frames. i really liked how it looked/moved when it was at 12FPS, but i wanted to practice some inbetweening so I just bumped it up to 60 and started drawin'

This is probably the best and cleanest 48/60 fps animation because of its easing and overall clarity
But I’ll stick with 24/30 fps

Very nice work Mayde, appreciate the breakdown in the description on how you went about it as well. It's definitely a lot of work and produces a genuinely good looking result but I admit the returns in terms of output probably aren't enough for the work required. It was really interesting watching it back at 1/4 speed and seeing the individual frames as well noticing that even at a high frame rate there's only a one frame transition between the heel contacting the ground and the foot going flat. I also thought that there were some kind of motion blur frames being used initially but realised it was an artifact of the high framerate after slowing it down, very interesting stuff.
As an aside, I really liked the shape change on the right hand as it swings forward to indicate a change in perspective. Keep doing awesome work and pushing boundaries dude.

This is the thing about high framerates for me, after a certain point the animation looks like it can pass as a 3d animation because it is so smooth and unnaturally clean.
