for those who dont know the mom didn’t put the money under the boy’s pillow, meaning someone else did. When she checks his room, she sees the unknown figure in the closet. That figure is the “tooth fairy” who gave the boy money. The scary part is realizing a stranger (or something supernatural) was in the child’s room at night, pretending to be the tooth fairy, and then hid or disappeared in the closet
