These mistakes are going to cost you $$$ 1- Extracting your acne on your own. There is a difference between extracting acne with a help of a tool that mostly estheticians know how to use since it’s part of their training and there is a difference between you trying to extract them at home. The rupture in the acne causes cell damage that leads to having acne scars. There is a proper way to pop a pimple, but it’s not in your scope so don’t try it. 2- Not using the appropriate product for your acne. This mistake only happens when you don’t see an acne specialist and instead just try to curate your own routine without proper knowledge of skin and ingredients . I highly suggest you should see someone who can help you get a customized skincare routine curated for your specific needs, and your specific type of acne. 3- Not being consistent and switching products. Thanks to the TikTok trends, this is some thing I constantly see in the industry. I personally had a client who said her skin was doing so much better when she was on her curated regimen but then after that, I don’t know what made her decide to go and buy a trending product on TikTok. She had to start from Ground Zero again. So please don’t make this mistake. Just because something is trending. Does not mean it’s a product for you and your skin.
