The whole point of the corner trowell'twitcher'..is that you dont have to use your trowell edge in the corner. Step 1.. use corner trowell
Step 2.. trowell upwards about half inch from corner and trowell down from ceiling. You dont need water on it untill your wet trowell stage. In my opinion marshall town make the better trowell. Ragni is a cheaper option. You are a good plasterer but i have seen you do some questionable stuff. Are you self taught?.
