After over a decade in traditional psychiatric care, being cycled through multiple medications without real progress, one of our incredible patients has officially graduated from our clinic after 2 years of personalized tapering. Today, sheā€™s medication-free, feeling better than ever, and no longer needs any psychiatric treatment. This is the transformation weā€™re proud to celebrate! #taperclinic #antidepressantwithdrawal #mentalhealthadvocate #celebrate

Iā€™m glad you believe in ā€œpatient graduationā€. Most doctors want people to keep going back for ā€œmedication managementā€ office visits with no purpose just so they can be billed their copay because itā€™s easy money and they have a lot of time on their hands. I really think psych just wants to keep this cycle going to keep their paychecks going. Itā€™s great that you help your patients get off the drugs and never see them again.

I hope the people watching realize this is what it takes to do this safely. Watch all of his videos. Watch Nicole Lambersonā€™s work in particular. The two of them have put together the best collection of mental health information you are going to find. Itā€™s all accurate. Many interviewed are friends of mine. Most of my friends thought their medication was helping. Just because it feels good doesnā€™t mean itā€™s good for you. Long term prescribing of antidepressants should not have happened. Benzodiazepines should be for procedural use only. I first got hurt after ā€œonlyā€ taking a benzodiazepine twice/week for a few months and then letting it run out. It took getting hurt again by klonopin to even realize this was possible and I was able to make sense of it. Most of my worst symptoms erupted ā€œtardiveā€ months after stopping the benzo. Neurological grenades. I had tinnitus explosions to start me off. I didnā€™t even hear them throw the grenade.

Why is it not a criminal offence when a Doctor can cold turkey a patient leading to Benzodiazepine injury?

Please post more success stories. This shit is so damn scary. I can't even begin to taper because i can't find a base dose.

I donā€™t think many psychiatrists are like this tbh well not mine atleast. Mine dosnt believe in slow tapering and tried to CT me off the lowest dose of Effexor 37.5mg .. Iā€™ve been tapering on my own and been trying to get refills .. Now I donā€™t have a psychiatrist and have been tapering the rest of the Effexor I had left. Almost out of the Effexor and now have to score a 37.5 mg script.

I'm in Illinois so how do I get help with your clinic? I don't think they understand it like you do here.
