Reminds me of making moonshine. That stuff is delicious. There's something about moonshine that just makes it taste better than any other hard liquor. It's easy to make and it lasts you a while

I’ll try this. Heard of it before but sometimes I have to see something done to believe it. The actual throwing of that copper mesh scrubber you can get from the store. Im super sensitive to sulphur so I hate it even from the sounding valve. Smells like someone farted in my brew area for a couple days and once that’s in my mind it’s attached to the beer.

Not too weird. That is one of the reasons stills, line arms and worm tubes are made from copper. Helps to clean it up during the process.

So after use? can you reuse the copper sponge?
Or does it need a bath into some kind of additive so its clean for the next use?

Hydrogen sulfide will react with the copper to create copper sulfide which will adhere to the coppers surface. At least tell the people whats actually happening.
