Start cucumbers in trays trans plant out for exact spacing they catch fast

I live in a cold zone in B.C. Canada. Zone 3. Which in the USA I believe is a 2? NOTHING grows for me that is started then transplanted. Everything must be planted by seed. If something is started indoors then transplanted, it stunts and my directly sowed seeds catch up and surpass. I try to teach people in my community things but it’s too much. I’ve decided they can pay me for my knowledge. LOL.
PS. I love Renee’s Garden seeds.
