Ngl, I grew up eating grasshoppers and termites in south africa. They are quite delicious.

I’ve had crickets and ants. Ants literally don’t taste like anything, kinda just something to chew on like sunflower seeds. The crickets I had weren’t seasoned and tasted like burnt popcorn. Not my thing

I had grasshoppers in Mexico City they were good. They also had lion meat burgers. I didn’t try it but it was an interesting Mercado experience.

I mean, it's really no different than shrimp, crab and other crustaceans. Basically, grasshoppers are just land shrimp.
