Bro accepted his fate as soon as those tires touched the grass... This is a perfect example of a controlled crash. Well done

Shifted focus from race to safely crashing preventing a potentially deadly accident with spectators around. Huge respect and hope heā€™s ok! šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ’Ŗ

Not many people understand how hard it is to control the bike in this situation. He handled it like a champ and saved his life

This video really saddens my heart This video really saddens my heart. My eyes are full of tears. My second Son lost his life only 2 years ago in this exact same scenario. The only difference was, he loved his bike that much that he refused to lay it down. He only applied the brakes twice after hitting the grass. First time you could clearly see he knew brakes werenā€™t going to help him at all. He passed a car before the corner doing well over the speed limit. The car was doing the limit which was 100kmh. The kind woman that pulled over and held his hand until the ambulance arrived spoke to him even tho he wasnā€™t responding. After knowing the bike wouldnā€™t slowdown on the grass he tried to keep the bike upright before a little dip. Once he hit that little dip he must of noticed the tree he was heading towards. He then must off hit the front and rear brakes about 8 meters away throwing him off of the bike as he hit the tree then the bike hit him and bounced off about 30 meters to the right. The day before I fixed his blinker that wasnā€™t working. He came over the next day to celebrate Ramadan with us. He was so happy his bike was fixed he asked if he could take his bike out for a ride as it had been sitting there for more than 3 weeks. To keep him happy we said it was fine. He told us he would be back in a hour. 5 hours later my other Son started getting worried because he wasnā€™t answering his phone. We called the hospital and there was no report. My son then went on the local FB page and saw a post about a fatal motor bike accident on the same road he was heading out for a ride on. He came running out saying their had been an accident on the road were our second son was heading. We rushed straight to the police station. The police confirmed the accident and asked for our Sons name and d.o.b. The officer went around the back to call who ever it was he called. As he walked out of those doors to ask us to come in one of the rooms. All I could say was no, no, no Iā€™m not going in there and I felt his hand on my shoulder ass he pulled me into his side walking me to the room with my wife and Son. I looked at him one more time and said please donā€™t. I walked out of the police station in tears with my knees on the road and head in the gutter and the tears still havenā€™t stopped Braxton, my Son. I love and miss you sooo much. I hold myself responsible for what happened to you. Where ever you are right now I just wish I could wake up and it was all just a bad dream. Every night I close my eyes with a lump in my throat, every morning Inc. I wake up within I didnā€™t. My life has become so bare with out you that I donā€™t see the point of doing anything anymore. Your brother missus you so much. I look at him walk past me 2 years after you left us and he still hasnā€™t been able to smile from his heart. He walks out of his room with his head down and when I ask him whatā€™s wrong he just lifts his head up slightly and say nothing Iā€™m ok. I tell him I love him and he replies by saying I love you more. Our lives have changed so much that we refuse to eat some of the things you loved to eat. Since you left us all our lives have changed. We now have no but the 3 of use. We miss you so much that we canā€™t even say your name with out all of us breaking down and going our own ways. Mum will walk to her room, your brother will walk out the doors to work himself till he literally black out on the lounge you guy use to play on and I just walk into the studio watching videos of you and your brother just being boys. I really miss you sons you sooo much. I really miss you son. 22 years old and you have left us. To everyone that rides young or old. Please ride with care. I wouldnā€™t wish any family to go through what we are going through. It is so messed up that sometimes I forget and will roll over to my wife to say Iā€™m taking the boys out today and remember and my day begins again with tears. I still have my bike that we would go for rides on weekends with but I canā€™t ride it. My Son took a sledge hammer to his bike screaming in tears. He was the one that bought the bike for him so we could ride together. So please to anyone that rides, think about those you leave behind and if your anything like me and still donā€™t have a family just remember that one day you will. Ride but please ride with care. Always be on alert and please for your families sake just donā€™t pulled back on that throttle to far. To Braxton please come into my dreams more often, itā€™s the only way I can see you.

That short micro adjustment to pass the poles and continue on grass was just beautiful. This man definitely just saved his own life.

That was skilled. He knew to stay straight as possible in the grass after excepting coming in too hot. He tried his best to slow it down and tried to keep safe.

People saying he handled that crash well.... I believe he wasn't intending to crash, he was trying to get back to the track. True stud.

He chose the correct moment to drop. That's some serious control he got there. To be able to keep that bike going like this until the right moment is actually insane

It's so so hard to control crashes like this, hats off to him.

For the people saying he could have just continued steering, no he couldn't, his momentum would have made the wheels lose grip instantly once on the grass, renaming as still as possible was the best scenario

Cant even imagine a better way to manage that situation. He is so good. He takes control when It seems imposible and drops to the floor in the exact moment to minimize the damage

Man's a pro! Bled off all that energy before finally laying the bike down in an awful situation. Probably saved his life. Edit: all the people in the replies saying he's no pro or they have seen better who aren't out here taking a turn at 130mph make me smile.
