Literally how can the amazing Spider-Man storylines not get this. Another example is Spider-Man Life Story married 2 kids, but that timeline MJ and Peter have actual marriage problems and separate for a time and they get back together after Peter is able to better balance his life. IMO the problem with the ASM storyline is that for they always build the MJ and Peter storyline on how they’ll get back together and then they just don’t and now you have her get with a meaningless character. If marvel would’ve pulled a Gwen Stacy and said MJ is moving away she’s not dead but she’ll show every now and then like Gwen Stacy does somehow then people might’ve been able to get over MJ, but know we get the saga of will they won’t they and fans are tired of it.
