I have 3 kids. I would absolutely be uncomfortable if someone was singling out my children and only focusing on them while recording. I wouldn't tolerate someone who was harassing or following my children or making inappropriate comments toward any of them. I wouldn't hesitate to confront anyone who I considered a danger to their personal safety. That being said, I don't understand the logic behind the rhetoric in this video. They're just trying to limit freedom of the press and prevent this man from filming in public. I've heard cops and other public servants say the same thing in regards to filming female employees. The bullshit argument doesn't hold up. I try very hard to educate my kids on their rights and to make sure that they understand the importance of exercising those rights and refusing to bow down to tyrannical public servants.

They always mention the kids. As if no one ever video taped a kid at a ball game, ballet recital, graduation, swim meet, dance recital, beauty pagent... Etc.
