I once observed a Mantis eating a plethora of ticks like they were candy. Little blood-filled, bite sized, organic candies.
It was both hideous and beautiful at the same time. Especially knowing how much everyone and everything hates ticks!

I had a green mantis that stayed for 3 weeks and loved my hummer feeder, free wasps every day... She was a happy mantis. 😅

This year I didn’t put fish in my pond and I got a caddisfly larvae infestation. Never happened to me before. I think the ate everything under water. My waterlilies did very poorly and the val was obliterated. Wish I had had and underwater praying mantis to eat them!
