I feel great fasting...like, physically and mentally. But then you hear about the cortisol rising when the body is "stressed"...I feel great, so how is my body feeling stressed? There's so much conflicting information...
I DO Fast longer term, because I think physical feelings are an indicator... But some discussion would be awesome!

Thank you! I've done the 20 hour fast as well as 12, and 18 hours. Choosing a number of fasting hours that works for our individual needs is key. Although other IF timelines do have significant benefits, I find that 20 seems to be the most beneficial. It's much easier than doing the 23 hour fast and only eating for one hour. At that time I found I was binging during the one hour and making poor food choices because I felt I was missing out on 'the good stuff '....Having 4 hours as an eating window enables me to incorporate an appropriate amount of protein, vegetables and carbs. I watch your videos almost daily and appreciate the time, wisdom and information you give us. Thank you very much. ❤
